One photo.
That's all that takes.
One look.
One glance.
One second.
For everything to rush back.
Long walks with a single cell receiver traveling over 100 miles south carrying tears and blood boiling above a temperature that no human body should every reach
But news travels fast through technology and not fast enough face to face when
One flight freezes and proceeds to unwind the turbine backwards and hurricanes spin counter to the intuition that Mother Nature makes her
Boy walks slow slow quick from gate 9 all the way back to a room where suitcases open themselves and months worth of packing starts to unravel back into their respective drawers
Macs go from closed to open where windows go from minus to plus where we see trust begin to regain its origin in the eyes of two distanced lovers long lost into the forgotten art of soon you see will I.
Moon rises and sets with the sun as rain falls back up to the sky and unrecipitates back into clouds,
Like how her tour van pulls back into a parking lot and the two of them become back to being locked at the hips arms and wrist
Fingers intertwined
Like double helixes
Her French braid begins to untwist as they walk back together into their apartment
Sending their farewells breath by breath back into the bedroom where their last trades of I love yous beat by beat crept back into their sheets Refolded into their perpendicular prefecture
She and he once again become unlinear
A relationship put back together piece by piece with each chip placed back perfectly in its curvature.
Lead finds its way back into pencil
Unprint the fingertips around each text message like stencil sketches unmade with skin.
Each kiss pushes back and away like same sided magnets can't seem to stay
Fade the flash back into every single moment shared
Undergraduated
Dances and plays get restageing
Unrip the tickets from every single trip from our scrap books.
Unpin it
Unprint it
Take those minutes and insert them back into its lens
EVERY SINGLE GOD DAMN THING FROM FAVORITE COLORS
TO BIGGEST FEARS
FROM THE DEATH OF YOUR FATHER
TO THE FACT THAT YOU HELPED ME REKINDLE THE RELATIONSHIP THAT I HAVE WITH MY OWN.
EACH PIECE OF THE SOUL SURVIVED BY THE CEREBRUM
BEGINS TO ERODE INTO ANOTHER BLACK HOLE LABELED THINGS I DONT KNOW.
I pre-sent the past back to where we find these two unknowns sitting across from each other.
What's a four letter word who's definition is an intense feeling of deep affection?
LOVE.
